Issued as part of the Canadian Pattern 1964 webbing system, as a replacement to the older Korean War era canvas 1951, the P-64 pattern features the first ever all-nylon webbing system issued in the Canadian system. With it's distinctively Canadian olive and smooth texture, these pouches were initially included to fit a small mess tin, or other utility accoutrements of the Canadian soldier. Secured to the overall webbing system with a simple velcro secured belt loop, it was a simple little pouch that could be stacked on with other gear based on the needs of the day.
Fits two standard 5.56 STANAG magazines. Measures 6.5x 2.5 x 2.5 inches.
